Many of our community members experiencing homelessness do not have the resources to purchase basic hygiene items. We have the solution-Hope Totes. These lightweight, drawstring, sport packs filled with basic necessities and a community resource list, are a great way for individuals, homeschool co-ops, youth groups or companies to help.

What can you do?

THERE ARE 3 WAYS THAT YOU CAN HELP.

CONDUCT A HOPE TOTE DRIVE2019-10-02T16:38:15+00:00

Volunteers host a drive to collect various hygiene items or other essentials and donate them to Hope’s Journey Inc.

  • 16 oz. Bottled Water

  • Raisins

  • Almonds

  • Beef Jerky

  • Protein Bars

  • Travel Sized Toiletries – Soap, Shampoo, Lotion, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Disposable Razor

  • Shaving Cream

  • Hand/Body Wipes

  • Lip Balm

  • Sunscreen

  • Washcloth

  • Comb/Brush

  • Socks

Additional items:

  • Underwear

  • Basic t-shirts

  • Gift Cards to supermarkets or restaurants ($25)

  • Metro Cards ($10)

HOST A HOPE TOTES PACKING PARTY2019-10-02T16:27:45+00:00

For a donation of $2.50 per bag, HJI will provide you the bags with the community resource list and you can pack the bags yourself. Be sure to take pictures during your event and send them to us. After your event, just drop them off at our office and we will distribute them accordingly.
